A border between the European Union and Africa is under construction, largely thanks to the phenomenon of irregular migration. This article will examine this Euro-African border through the transnational system of immigration control driven by the European Agency for external borders, Frontex. The article will be based on the project HERA, considered the most “successful” Frontex operations.
