This article performs an analysis of the relations of economic integration between cross-border regions of the United States and Mexico in the market of health services, by analyzing the background leading up to the Treaty of free trade, the delimitation of the market between Southern California and Northern Mexico, as well as the problems that give rise to these relationships.
