The article analyzes the mobility of Romanians in Spain, in the context of the economic crisis affecting the labour markets of Spain and Romania. With reference to the perception of Romanian immigrants, the study addresses their mobility experiences as European citizens in the European Union (EU) expanded, with rights of free movement but not work. To perform research used the qualitative technique of the interview in depth, underway 80 interviews with Romanians who practice labour mobility between the two countries. The empirical work suggests that perceptions of immigrants on mobility are interpreted according to migration stages and the current economic circumstances.
